Print and complete the convenient order form, and bring it with your photos and payment to Your Video Memories. Your photographs are digitized, and together with the selected music, are processed into to the photo album styled video.
All materials are promptly returned with the completed Video Memory Book.

How do I know if the completed DVD Video Memory Book will be compatible with my DVD player?
Your Video Memories uses DVD-R media for DVD packages. Many newer DVD players accept DVD-R media, but it is important that you check your DVD Player's Manual to verify player compatibility, or call Your Video Memories prior to placing your order.

How long does it take to get the finished Video Memory Book?

Can pictures from my professional photographer be used in the Video Memory Book?
Yes, with a copyright release from your photographer, or if you already own the negatives, Your Video Memories would be happy to include them in a Video Memory Book.

Can pictures other than those from the wedding be used in the Video Memory Book?
Adding photographs from multiple sources or from multiple days is one of the advantages of owning a Video Memory Book. Many couples add pictures from their early childhood, pictures of them as a couple, bridal showers, bachelor or bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinner, candid wedding pictures taken by guests, and pictures from the honeymoon.
Remember that to add a professional photographer's work to a Video Memory Book, you will need a copyright release from the photographer, or already have ownership of the negatives.

Can party invitations and programs be added?
Yes, Your Video Memories can digitize your invitation in the same way as a photograph. The names of the primary participants from the program (celebrant, attendants, parents, vocalists, musicians, etc.) can be added to a list of Closing Credits. Please make the proper notation on the Video Memory Book order form.

Can I add a dedication?
Yes, dedications as well as closing credits can be added to further personalize a Video Memory Book. This is especially appropriate if the Video Memory Book is being given as a gift or used as a memorial.

Can I pick the style of music that accompanies my pictures?
Your Video Memories has many different styles of music in their library (see the Video Memory Book order form on this web site for selections). You may also provide your own music on CD's, cassette tapes, or WAV or MP3 computer files.

Can I use more than one song or style of music?
Yes, more than one song is usually necessary for a Video Memory Book. As each photograph is displayed on the screen for about six seconds, a Video Memory Book presentation will run for approximately four minutes for each forty photos. Since most songs or instrumental pieces play for two to three minutes, several musical pieces will be necessary to fill an entire Video Memory Book. Musical style changes work especially well along with chapter or scene changes.

Does the beginning or ending of musical accompaniment coincide with Chapter or Scene changes?
Every effort is made to begin and end a song or instrumental piece on a scene or chapter change by making slight adjustments to the time photographs are displayed on the screen. Exact music synchronization is not always possible without shortening a song or playing more than one song in a particular scene or chapter.

A Chapter or Scene is a group of related photos and are reflected in a Video Memory Book presentation by a page turn. Your Video Memories and its staff recognize the importance and sentiment of your photographs, and provides them with the same quality care that they would give to our own photos.
Pictures, music and finished Memory Books are returned by US Postal Service Priority Mail. Expedited delivery as well as insurance if desired would be an additional fee. Please refer to the order sheet for more information or call Your Video Memories for more information.

What photos look best in a Video Memory Book?
Preference should be given to pictures that are clear, in focus, well lighted, and without visual impairments. Of course this is not always possible, so use the best photos that you have available to you.

What size pictures can be used?
Pictures from 3.5 x 3.5 inches up to 8 x10 inches can be used. As part of the Video Memory Book processing, the size of each photo is adjusted to fit the format of a television screen. Please refer to Easy Processing Order Steps on this web site for further information.

Yes, black and white pictures can be used, as well as sepia toned or hand colored photos.
